Suri Silk DK

We gush so much about our Suri Silk base, and now for a limited time, we've added a DK version too! This glorious yarn consists of 90% Alpaca and 10% silk (vs. the lace version's 76% Alpaca - 24% Silk). The silk binds all that fluffy goodness together. But not too much silk was added because that would mean we'd get less yardage! So enjoy that DK yardage you're accustomed to - 246yds!

Use Suri Silk DK in shawls, cowls, sweaters...anything that will touch your skin. We're not exaggerating when we say adulting is easier when we wear something made from this yarn. It also pairs really well with other bases like our Merino Sport and Merino Sock. 

Please note that Suri Silk DK will shed. We recommend using a yarn friendly lotion while knitting with it (what knitter wouldn't benefit from using more hand lotion anyway?).
