FIREPIT EMBERS Merino Cashmere Assigned Pooling

I first discovered Assigned Pooling while admiring Dawn Barker’s lovely Float Shawl pattern. The pooling effect happens when a small portion of the skein is dipped into an accent color, which allows for an impromptu color pop and texture effects like bobbles or stripes. The knitting process is incredibly enjoyable and the result is a whimsical, unique piece you will be extra proud to wear!

FIBER: 80% Merino / 10% Nylon / 10% Cashmere

WEIGHT: fingering / sock

TEXTURE: 4-ply

SUGGESTED NEEDLE SIZE: 1-3 (US) / 2.25-3.25mm

SUGGESTED HOOK SIZE: B1-E4 / 2.25-3.25mm

All our yarn is hand-dyed in small batches. Variations between skeins should be expected/celebrated. If you buy more than one skein of the same color way, we will do our best to select them from the same batch. We recommend alternating skeins every row or every other row for large projects.

We do our best to rinse all remaining dye from the yarn, however there may be a slight color bleed on the first wash.

Hand wash in mild detergent. Dry flat.
